Prof. Dr. Jan Tomasz Gross (Princeton/Berlin)

Jan Tomasz Gross is Professor of History, emeritus, at Princeton University. Prior to joining the Princeton faculty in 2003, Gross taught at various universities in Europe and the United States, including Yale, NYU, and the University of Paris (Nanterre). He has received various honors and awards, including the Guggenheim, Rockefeller, and Fulbright fellowships. He is the author of books such as Polish Society Under German Occupation (1979), Revolution from Abroad (1988), and Neighbors (2001), which has been translated into several languages. He lives in Berlin.
