Dr. Kata Bohus (Tromsø)

Kata Bohus is Senior Research Advisor at the University of Tromsø in Norway. From 2016 to 2020, she was Fellow at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, where she curated the exhibition »Our Courage – Jews in Postwar Europe 1945–48« and edited a volume of the same name (together with Atina Grossmann, Werner Hanak and Mirjam Wenzel, 2020). She is author of several articles, including »Not a Jewish question? The Holocaust in Hungary in the Press and Propaganda of the Kádár Regime during the Trial of Adolf Eichmann«, in: Hungarian Historical Review (2015). Her latest paper on Jewish memorials in Stalinist Hungary is forthcoming in the volume »Growing in the Shadow of Antifascism. Holocaust Memory in Socialist Eastern Europe,« which she is co-editing with Peter Hallama and Stephan Stach.
